The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a program that provides healthy food, breastfeeding support, and nutrition education to pregnant, breastfeeding, postpartum, and children up to age five.
WIC is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and is available statewide through county health departments, community and rural health centers, and community action agencies.
