The Sampson-Clinton Public Library invites everyone to enjoy library branches in Clinton, Garland, Newton Grove, and Roseboro where they will encounter staff who are ready and eager to help with whatever our patron need.

4-H & Youth Development

4-H is the largest youth development organization in the United States, with more than 6 million youth involved in various programs and project areas. 4-H is delivered by the 101 Cooperative Extension Offices across the state of North Carolina.

Environthon

The NC Envirothon is an exciting natural resource education program designed to challenge students in an interactive, outdoor competition where middle and high school teams (consisting of 3-5 students) are tested in areas of Wildlife, Forestry, Aquatic Ecology, Soils and Land Use and Current Environmental Issues.

Soil and Water Resource Conservation Workshop

The Resource Conservation Workshop is a weeklong workshop and involves study and hands on participation in a wide range of conservation topics. Students are housed at NC State University campus dormitories under the guidance of live-in counselors.
