Celebrating Nurse Practitioner Week 2025: Honoring Beverly Wilson, FNP

This week, November 9–15, 2025, we join healthcare organizations across the nation in celebrating National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Week—a time to recognize the outstanding contributions of nurse practitioners and the vital role they play in providing quality, accessible care.

At the Sampson County Health Department, we are proud to honor our own Family Nurse Practitioner, Beverly Wilson, for her exceptional dedication to the health and well-being of our community.

Beverly brings years of experience, compassion, and clinical excellence to her role. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages—conducting exams, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, promoting preventive care, and guiding patients toward healthier lifestyles. Her patients often praise her for her kindness, attentiveness, and ability to make them feel heard and cared for.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Beverly plays an essential role in advancing the mission of the Sampson County Health Department: to protect, promote, and preserve the health of all residents. Whether she’s providing patient education, supporting community outreach programs, or collaborating with colleagues across departments, Beverly consistently demonstrates the heart of public health nursing.

“Beverly embodies what it means to serve our community with compassion and professionalism,” said Wanda Robinson, Health Director. “Her commitment to patient-centered care and her positive attitude make a difference every single day.”

During NP Week 2025, we extend our deepest appreciation to Beverly Wilson for her dedication, leadership, and service to the residents of Sampson County. Her work reflects the very best of nursing practice and public health.

Please join us in thanking Beverly for all she does to keep our community healthy!
