Sampson County leaders joined state and local partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the new North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles (NCDMV) office opening in Garland. This is a milestone that will expand convenient access to essential services for residents across Sampson County and the surrounding region.

Sampson County is the first of four new DMV offices planned in the region, and we are excited for the Town of Garland, especially for the enhanced services that will be provided to our residents and those in the nearby communities.

County Manager Allen Vann expressed appreciation to the many partners who helped bring the project to completion, including Commissioner Paul Tine, the NCDMV team, Garland Mayor Ralph Smith, and those involved in planning, coordination and construction.

The new office, located at 35 S. Ingold Avenue, will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and provide convenient access to driver license and ID services for residents of Sampson County and surrounding areas.
