This week, we’re joining Fire Prevention Week to remind everyone:

Lithium-ion batteries power our world, but they can also pose fire risks if not handled safely.

✅ Buy Smart: Choose only listed products with safety marks like UL, ETL, or CSA.

✅ Charge Right: Use the charger that came with your device, keep it on a hard surface, and unplug when it is fully charged.

✅ Recycle Safe: Never throw batteries in the trash!

⚠️ If your device battery smells odd, gets too hot, or changes shape/color, STOP USING it immediately and move it away from anything that can catch fire. If it ignites, call 9-1-1.
